Final Preparations

Today I bought my travel guides. Now this adventure is starting to feel real and I am getting super excited!

The last couple of weeks have been a whirlwind of preparations. From notifying credit card companies of my travels (that is IF you can ever get to talk to a live person), to figuring out what to pack into my two bags (I was just informed that Barcelona is a very "trendy" city), I have made and remade several "to do" lists.

So now I am down to the final few days of work and packing.  If anyone has any travel tips for any of the cities/countries listed on the itinerary (see the link above), please email me or post below ASAP!  I would love some insider info.

If you'd like to send me snail mail (cough, cough), I have provided the link to the SAS website with all of the port addresses. Additionally, I have included (in a link next to the itinerary) the recommended dates for mailing such packages, er, letters.

So now the journey begins.  I promise that my future posts will most likely be more colorful and entertaining. Please pass along this blog link to anyone you think may enjoy traveling with us this summer.
